Broccoli is probably the "star" vegetable that comes to mind when you mention cancer fighting veggies.  Broccoli is packed with compounds shown to reduce breast cancer and ovarian cancer, so packed that all it takes to tip the scales is to consume just two 1 cup servings each week!

If broccoli isn’t your fav, you can substitute other cruciferous veggies. Cruciferous vegetables, include Arugula, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Watercress, Bok Choy, Turnip Greens,  Mustard Greens, and Collard Greens, Mizuna,  Tatsoi, Rutabaga, Napa or Chinese Cabbage, Daikon, Horseradish, Radishes, Turnips, Kohlrabi, and Kale.

Eating a variety of these vegetables (aim for three to start)  each week can help our bodies fight cancer.  Not only are they PROVEN to help fight cancer, but they are nutrient dense.
