Scientists have discovered a bit of magic hiding in the bark of the French maritime pine tree.  Bioflavonoids from the bark acts like a blood thinner… and because the extract has been patented….and is sold under the brand name  Pycnogenol®,  research on the product’s effectiveness has been extensive.

As a result, Pycnogenol® has been shown to help reduce symptoms of ADD.  Not only that, it’s also been shown to increase the circulation of diabetic patients by up to 68%.

As always, check with your doctor before taking any new supplements.

The smell of eucalyptus is a familiar one to many children suffering from congestion.

While you may have thought it was a “folk” remedy, studies have proven that eucalyptus soothes and clears nasal and bronchial passages.  Experts say that eucalyptus has powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties, in addition to anti-inflammatory properties as well.

Look for eucalyptus in over the counter medications or you can add a few drops into boiling water.  Then, inhale the steam to enjoy the healing properties of eucalyptus.
